Road to Nowhere
Tank tracks stretch into the distance, with silent stars above.
some mild green airglow can be seen I this photo, with a thin layer of wispy cloud traversing in front of our home galaxy.
One lonely satellite can be seen travelling towards the bright stars, Graffias, Dschubba and Fang in the tail of the constellation scorpius.
Thank you!
How this photo was taken
The location this photo was taken from is displayed in this map.
This was a stacked photograph of over 20 minutes exposure using a 24mm lens and tripod on the 21st of May 2020. I hiked up the hill onto salisbury plain to watch the Milky Way rise for an hour before the clouds rolled in.
