Communication
My personal favourite region of the night sky is pictured here- the rho ophiuchi, part of the constellation Scorpius.
It is only visible from the UK during a few select summer months,  but is quite noticeable on the southern horizon to the right of the Milky Way due to its brightest star- Antares- glowing a deep red/orange. The pentagon of stars forming this region is surrounded by dust shown as orange/blue regions in this photo.
The darker dust lanes from the Milky Way also coalesce onto this constellation, reaching out like tendrils. I climbed an old abandoned radio communication tower to get a better view of this amazing region.
